How much does the ArchSoft Worldpac Web Partner Solution cost?

There are two (2) software modules the may be combined or used separately. These are:

Module 1: Fully Integrated Worldpac Catalog with Administrative Functions
$3,995.00 setup fee & $129.00 per month service fee
 
Module 2: Fully Integrated non-Worldpac Catalog with Administrative Functions
$1,995.00 one-time setup fee & $149.00 per month service fee
 

Setting up both software module 1 and software module 2 together will allow you to receive a one-time $500.00 instant discount on your setup fees.

 

What's the difference between the two modules listed above?

Module 1 integrates the complete Worldpac catalog into your site with the full shopping cart and check-out process. Complete setup, testing, and instruction are provided to you or your web master.

Module 2 integrates a matching non-Worldpac catalog into your site with the full shopping cart and check-out process.  Complete setup, testing, and instruction are provided to you or your web master.  Module 2 also allows you to display non-Worldpac products within the Worldpac catalog!

Can I start off with software module 1, then later add software module 2 (or vice versa)?

Yes.

Do I still receive the $500.00 discount if I purchase the software module 1 and the software module 2 at different times?

No.  The discount only applies if you setup both software module 1 and software module 2 together at the same time.

Is it true that we can input our own products into the Worldpac Catalog?

Module 2 (for non-Worldpac parts) allows you to build (with either the point-and-click interface) or bulk import your products (.csv file) into one or more additional parts catalogs.  The number of parts you can have in each catalog is unlimited.

Who owns my customer data since everything is hosted by ArchSoft?

You do. 

Can I download my customer data, sales data, etc.. ?

Yes.  We can provide you with a link that will allow you to download your customer data and sales data in a comma delimited format, for use in your office applications or for backup purposes.

How is my customer data protected from my competitors?

We are required by Worldpac to protect your customer data.  Furthermore, we do not allow direct access to any of our Worldpac web servers by any of our customers.

Who owns the software application hosted on the ArchSoft web servers?

ArchSoft (ArchSoft is a dba of Arch Entertainment LLC).

What type of uptime can I expect from ArchSoft?

100% uptime

Do you provide email?

We provide web based email.  We provide both POP3 and SMTP as well as a web based email interface.  You may setup as many web based email accounts as you like.

How long has ArchSoft been in business?

Arch Entertainment LLC has been in business since 1998 (ArchSoft is a dba of Arch Entertainment LLC)

How long has ArchSoft been providing the Worldpac Web Partner Solution?

Approximately four years (since 2003).

How much customer support will I receive?

There is no limit* to the customer support you will receive as long is the support call is related to the usage of the ArchSoft Worldpac Web Partner Software Solution or the features and/or functionality of the ArchSoft Worldpac Web Partner Software Solution.

*The only limit to customer support is:

  • Training Web Masters - We do not teach your employees how to be web masters.  It is presumed that your web master understands, and able to read and write html, that your web master understands how to use an FTP client, and that your web master understands what a path is.  We will not explain any of these things to your web master.
  • We will train your web master on the ins and outs of our software.
  • If you decide to terminate your current web master and hire another, it is up to you to train your new web master. 
  • Alternatively, we will get your new web master up to speed on the ins and outs of our software for a one-time fee of $300.00.

My web master has caused a problem by modifying your installation... Can you fix it for me?

Yes we can and will gladly fix it for you.  However, we are not responsible for problems caused by your web master.  As a courtesy, we will fix any problems your web master causes by modifying our application files one (1) time free of charge.  After that, we will charge a fee of $150.00 to fix problems caused by the modification of our system files, no matter how long it takes.  This is a flat fee service charge.

As a note, we install a complete set of backup files in the FTP server your web master will access.  If your web master should, by accident, alter our files in such a way as to alter the proper functionality of the ArchSoft Worldpac Web Partner Software Solution, your web master can always retrieve an original copy of our application file, and put the application back to the state it was in prior to the modification attempt.  This is always the suggested method of correcting a problem due to web master modifications.

Additionally, your web master should posses a file comparison application such as "Compare-It".  These types of applications allow you to directly compare the code of a web page that you modify, and compare it to that of the original file, thus allowing your web master the opportunity to recognize a problem before a file is put into production.  Alternatively, your web master could utilize an application like this to compare the original application file to that of a file the web master has modified, which is causing problems, thus allowing a simple fix to get your application functioning properly.
